15 Children among 446 Libya returnees who arrived Port harcourt.
Another
set of returnees from Libya arrived the Port Harcourt International Airport
Omagwa last night and were received by the Officials of the National Emergency
Management Agency NEMA and other Agencies.
Addressing
the Media at the Airport, Minister of Health Professor Isaac Adewole said the
returnees will be reintegrated into the society as they would be
trained on various Skills Acquisition.
Professor Adewole also assured the returnees
of proper Health Care Facilities as the University of Port Harcourt Teaching
Hospital team is to provide Health care Services.
Meanwhile
the Director in charge of Search and Rescue Operations NEMA , Air
commodore Sunny Ohemu said fifteen children were among the returnees from
Libya .
Some returnees
from Libya Oliha Christopher and Precious Gabriel while thanking the Federal
Government for coming to their aid lamented the inhumane treatment meted on
them by the Libyans.
A
total number of four hundred and forty six persons made up the batch B of
returnees from Libya.
