Youths of Abua Odual LGA advised to engaged in dialogue than resort to violence

Youths of Otari Community in Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State have been called upon to engage dialogue in addressing their grievances.

An indigene of Otari Community, Mr. King Black- Obuge who made the call during an interview said the youths of Otari were alleging that the indigenous advisory committee which is a go between for the community and the Niger Delta Petroleum Resourses, NDPR; Company in the Community, have not represented the community as expected.

Mr. Obuge also called on the first class chief of the Abua Kingdom to wade into the matter, to avoid impending crisis.

The youths of Otari were said to have almost lynched the Community Development Chairman, CDC; of the Community within the week, because of the issue.
