SLAIN JUMIA DELIVERY AGENT IN PH: Trial of suspects to begin today

The trial of the suspected killers of a delivery agent Chukwuma Eleje is expected to begin today at a high Court in Port Harcourt

This followed the release of legal advice by the Department of Public Persecution on the matter

A Magistrate court, in April, in Port Harcourt remanded two of the three suspects in prison custody after the court said it doesn’t have jurisdiction to attend to the matter

The prosecutors have preferred a three count charge of conspiracy, murder and armed robbery against the suspects

The Presiding Magistrate, Chief Magistrate Amadi O Amadinna then referred the case to the Department of Public Prosecution DPP for legal advice
