Look out for good storage system before purchasing product - NAFDAC South-South Boss says

The National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control, NAFDAC, in Rivers State has called on consumers to look out for good storage system for every product before purchase.

The South South Zonal Coordinator of NAFDAC, Mrs. Chinelo Eje made the call in an interview with our correspondent Florence Israel in Port Harcourt.

Mrs. Eje stressed that most consumable products which includes drugs, bottled water, soft drinks among others, are not stored in the required atmosphere and could be harmful to the consumer’s health.

Mrs. Eje further spoke on the synergy between NAFDAC and other regulatory agencies to sanitise the society of illegal and substandard products.

The South South  Zonal Coordinator of NAFDAC however, promised that the agency would not relent but continue to destroy such products when found.
