World Poverty Day: Financial Experts in Rivers State call for enlightenment on the Benefits of making Investments

 As Nigeria join the rest of the world to celebrate the international day for eradication of poverty, there have been calls by Stakeholders for Government to proffer lasting solution to the lingering challenge of poverty in the country. 

A Social critic, Mr. Maxwell Echezona who spoke with our correspondent in Port Harcourt said without basic amenities, no Country can escape financial crisis. 

Also speaking, a financial expert Mrs. Becky Amadi said people need proper sensitization on the benefits of investment.  

A medical practitioner in Braithwaite memorial hospital, BMH   Dr. Robert Allwell said family planning should be taken seriously to avert poverty. 

World poverty eradication day is celebrated annually on October 17.
