Wife of Rivers state Governor Bags award, reiterates the need to love one another

Wife of the Rivers State Governor, Justice Eberechi Nyesom-Wike has been conferred with an award of "A Noble Woman of Valour" by the Mother's Union and Women Guilds of the Diocese of Niger Delta North, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion.

The award which was conferred during the 3rd Diocesan Women Convention Thanksgiving Service at Saint Paul's Cathedral, Diobu, Port Harcourt was in recognition of her service to the church and society and contribution to the dignity of women in the state.

Speaking after receiving the award, Justice Eberechi Nyesom-Wike urged women to love one another just as Christ loved the church.

The Wife of the Governor read the only lesson at the service which also featured investiture of Senior Mothers and award of Grand Senior Mother to the Diocesan President of the Mother's Union and Women Guilds, Mrs. Beatrice Kattey.

Earlier in a sermon, the Archbishop, Niger Delta Province and Bishop, Diocese of Niger Delta North, Most Reverend Ignatius Kattey who spoke on the convention theme "The Power of Love" urged Christians to always imbibe the habit of love as commanded by God.
