SACKED SGF: FG says EFCC free to prosecute Babachir Lawal

Following the laying off of Balachir Lawal as the Secretary General of the Federation, The Presidency has said the EFCC is an independent agency and will not be compelled to follow up the case involving the Ex-SGF.

While fielding questions on Twitter about the prosecution of the Ex-SGF as the Presidency only investigated, The official Presidency account said the EFCC enjoys authority  and independence to prosecute.
