Rivers state Governor Nyesom Wike, Rivers State PDP Chairman, Others, Condemn killings in Mgbuosimini.
The Governor who made this known when he visited the area, Tuesday, accompanied by security agents commiserated with the family of the victims; stating that the attack was cult related.
“We are not happy but everything is
being done to make sure the perpetrators of this attack, they will not go scot
free, security agents are on top of the situation, it’s unfortunate but I can
assure you Government will do everything It takes to bring the Perpetrator to
book” The Governor said.
Mr. Wike who called for calm promised
to build a Police station in the community to ensure adequate security in the
area; he added that the State Government has awarded the construction of
internal roads in the community.

State PDP Chairman Felix Obuah Condemns the Attack
PDP Chairman in the State also joined
in condemning the attack which took twelve lives in the Mgbuosimini area of
Rivers State.
In a statement by his media aide Jerry
Yidan, Obuah sympathized with the families of the victims, urging them to keep
hope alive as the state Government is prepared to give all logistics support to
the security agencies to ensure all those behind the crime are fished out
brought to justice
Paramount
Ruler decries the killings
The Paramount Ruler of Rumueme kingdom,
Nyeweli Omunakwe Nsirim has condemned the killing of twelve non indigenes at Mgbuosimini.
Nyeweli Nsirim also commiserated with
the families of the victims, promising to partner with security agencies to
ensure the hoodlums are brought to book.

also alleged his life was being threatened by some persons in the community.
