PANDEF to Niger Delta youths: Be patient with FG
Pan Niger Delta Forum PANDEF has appealed to youths and
agitators in the region to be patient with the Federal Government in its bid to
develop the Niger Delta region.
Leader of the socio-ethnic group in Rivers State, Alabo
douglas who spoke to newsmen on the 4th general assembly of the body
said it was unfair to the youths to say attention has been given to the region.
Mr Douglas cited the Bodo-Bonny road which the Federal
government flagged off recently was part of the 16 points demands presented to
the federal Government by the group.
He also dismissed claims that PANDEF is slow in its
engagements with the Federal Government, saying that the body has mapped out
ways of further engagements to ensure the hopes and aspiration of the residents
of Niger Delta is assured and brought to fruition.
