Mental health problems are not spiritual- Rivers State based Psychiatrist

 Medical Director, neuropsychiatric hospital in Rivers State, Dr Ferdinand Ogbe has condemned the total belief that mental health problems are diabolical.

Dr. Ogbe who made this known during a Road Work sensitization program on World Mental Day said people with mental health challenges should only be attended to by professional doctors.

President Rotary Club of Port Harcourt who is also a participant at the sensitization program, Rotarian Ferdinand Banigo explained why Rotarians were actively involved in the program.

Rotarian Ferdinand further called on people not to stigmatize people with mental health challenges but show them love.
