Gov Wike calls for cooperation between South-South South-East States

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has stated that programmes between South South and South East states will foster development in the two regions.

Governor Wike stated this when he visited his Cross Rivers State counterpart, Governor Ben Ayade in Calabar, the Cross Rivers State Capital .

He expressed satisfaction with the quality of projects embarked upon by Governor Ayade in Cross Rivers State.

Governor Wike said Rivers State would emulate the cleanliness model of Cross Rivers State.

For his part, Cross Rivers State Governor Ben Ayade said Peoples Democratic Party Governors in the zone, are united and working together.

Governor Wike had earlier visited Governors of Abia, Bayesla and Enugu states.
