Four Feared dead in Cult-Related Clash in Rivers State

Four persons are feared dead following a cult clash over the weekend at Trans Amadi Slaughter area, in Obio/Akpo Local Government area of Rivers State.

An eye witness who does not want his name mentioned said two persons were killed on Saturday while another two more were killed yesterday.

He said the incident caused chaos at the market as people scampered for safety.

The Police Public Relations Officer Rivers State Command, Mr. Nnamdi Omoni who confirmed the incident said that some suspects have been arrested adding that no life was lost.

Mr. Omoni assured that adequate measures have been taken by the command to prevent further clash in the area.
