Disruption of PANDEF Assembly Worrisome - Chief Sera-Igbe

The disruption of Pan Niger Delta Forum, PANDEF Assembly has continued to generate reactions.

One of the leaders of PANDEF Chief Anabs Sera-Igbe while expressing disapproval of what transpired at the venue of the Assembly said that the leaders of the group handled the challenge with maturity despite the seeming provocation.

Chief Sera-Igbe stated that what was more worrisome was that delegates across Niger Delta region who came from far places were denied the opportunity to meet and interact with the leaders of the group.

In the same vein the National representative Host Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas, HOSTCOM, Dr. Osasu Ekpe who was not happy at the manner in which they were blocked from the venue, described the incident as an undemocratic.

However, the Police Public Relations Officer Rivers State Command, DSP Nnamdi Omoni said that there was  an intelligent report of attack at the venue of the meeting as such, the command  had to put up preventive measures.
